What to do
A new client with no owner
No active rule on the unit, no rule matched, or no one is eligible and the fallback is “Leave Unassigned”.
Try it in Test your distribution rules with a sample client, then distribute it by hand.
An employee never gets clients
They’re deactivated, outside their hours, on the default working days, or at their limit.
See Set working hours so an employee gets clients only on shift and Set the most clients an employee gets per hour and per day.
The client went to an unexpected rule
A more specific rule comes first.
A Source condition doesn’t catch TikTok form clients
TikTok clients have no source.
Use a condition on “Lead Form”. See Make a distribution rule for one source or channel.
“At least one assignee is required”
The rule has no employees.
Choose an employee.
“Some assignees aren’t valid or aren’t active”
An employee is deactivated or deleted.
Remove them, or activate them again.
“The shares must total 100”
The total is different.
Edit the shares.
“The shares name an employee who isn’t an assignee”
A share stayed for an employee who was removed.
Delete their share.
“Shares are required for this method”
You chose Percentage or Weighted Fair without shares.
Enter the shares.
A message about a limit of 50 conditions or 10 groups
You went over the limit.
Split the rule.
“The client is assigned to another employee”
The record has an owner.
Turn on replacing the owner.
“All assignees are outside working hours or full”
No one is eligible.
Wait, choose another scenario or rule, or raise the limits.
“The rule is waiting for someone available, try later”
A rule with the Delay and Retry fallback, in manual distribution.
Try again later, or choose a scenario.
“The scenario or rule isn’t active”
It’s turned off.
Turn it on.
“This scenario or rule is no longer available”
It was deleted during distribution.
Choose another scenario or rule.
A failed record: doesn’t exist or you can’t see it
It was deleted, or it’s outside your permissions.
An “Updating” message
A temporary system update.
Try again after 30 seconds.
No client arrives from the form
The form isn’t registered, is paused, or has no mapping.
See Register an ad form and choose its unit, Map the ad form’s questions to the unit’s fields and Track form submissions and see why one failed.
A “Skipped” entry
The form isn’t registered or is paused, has no mapping, or the policy is “Ignore Duplicate”.
Fix the setup; the next client will be processed.
A “Failed” entry
A value that doesn’t fit the field, a missing connection, or an expired login.
Fix the cause so the next clients arrive, and add the failed client by hand. See Track form submissions and see why one failed.
“The form is already registered for this connection”
It was registered twice.
Edit the existing form.

The Meta Ads connection “Needs reconnect”
Meta revoked the permission.
Connect again with the same account.

The datasets list asks for Meta Ads
No valid Meta Ads connection.
The distribution automation won’t turn on: the channel isn’t linked to a unit
