Admin rights on the Facebook Page, Instagram form ads linked to the same Page
  • You need: Connect lead ads
  • You must be an admin of the Page on Facebook.
  • Instagram ads with forms must be linked to the same Facebook Page.

Steps

1
Open Settings → Lead Ads, press Connect, then Connect with Facebook.
2
Log in with the Facebook account that manages the Page, and approve the permissions.
You come back to Corteksa with a list of your Pages.
3
Choose the Page and press Connect.
A connection is created with the Page’s name and the status “Active”, and Corteksa subscribes to form notifications for this Page.
4
Repeat the steps for each extra Page; each Page is a separate connection.

Connecting the same Page in another workspace moves all new clients to it and stops them from reaching the current workspace.

Connection states

Status
What it means
Active
The connection works and receives clients.
Inactive
The connection is stopped.
Expired
The Facebook login has expired. Connect again with the same steps.

Reconnecting

Reconnecting the same Page doesn’t create a new connection; the login is renewed and the old connection comes back with its forms and matchings as they were, even if you disconnected it before.

Disconnecting

When you disconnect, clients from the Page stop arriving straight away. Records that were already created stay as they are.

One Page for one workspace

A Page’s clients are delivered to the workspace that connected it last. If you connect the same Page in another workspace, new clients move to it and stop reaching the first one.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

They have one Page that advertises on Facebook and Instagram.

What they did
  1. The marketing manager connected the Page once.
  2. The Facebook and Instagram forms showed up together, because they’re on the same Page.
The result

One connection covers both platforms, and the source tells them apart on its own.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

One connection per Page.
A Page delivers its clients to one workspace only: the last one that connected it.
