Set a member’s working hours and capacity for new clients

Each member has working hours, working days, and a maximum number of new clients per hour and per day. Automatic distribution uses them, so a client never goes to an employee outside their hours or over their capacity.

The employee hours and capacity fields may not show for every account yet.

Before you start · for owners and managers
The “Edit users” permission
  • You need: The “Edit users” permission

Steps

1
Open Settings → Members, and choose Edit user for the member.
2
Under Working Hours, turn on Enable, set the start and end as hours and minutes, and choose the Days.
3
Under Capacity Limits, turn on Enable, and enter the most new clients in Max / hour and Max / day.
4
Choose Update.

How it works

These settings belong to the employee, and they’re different from the workspace’s business hours, which set when the company is open.

They’re used by automatic distribution, and by the automation step that waits until the record owner’s working hours.

They show only when you edit a member, not in the Add User form, so add the member first.

The situation

An employee works part-time, from 4 PM to 10 PM.

What they did
  1. Her hours were set to 16:00–22:00, and her days to Sunday through Thursday.
  2. Her limit is 5 clients an hour and 25 a day.
The result

She no longer gets clients in the morning, and her load never goes over her capacity.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
