Create a scenario to distribute by hand or from an automation

A scenario is a list of employees with a distribution method, with no conditions and no fallback. It doesn’t run on its own; you choose it in manual or bulk distribution, or in the automation action.

Lead distribution is a paid Add-on. If you can’t find it in your account, contact support to turn it on.

When you distribute by hand through a rule, its conditions are ignored, because you chose the records yourself, and its assignees, method and fallback are used.

Each scenario has its own turn and order. A turned-off scenario doesn’t show as a choice, and is refused if requested.

You can reorder, edit, turn off and delete scenarios.

A real example

Shield Security Co.
The situation

When an employee resigns, they need to distribute that employee’s clients to the Eastern region team.

What they did
  1. An “Eastern team” scenario, Round Robin between 3 employees.
The result

They use it from the table when needed, without affecting the automatic rules.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

At least one employee, and all of them active.
Shares from 1 to 100, and the total is 100.
No fallback.
