Run an automation at a set time (Scheduled trigger)
The trigger On a schedule runs on the days and at the time you set, such as every day at 9 or every Sunday morning. Each time, the automation runs once, without a record.

Steps
1
Choose the trigger On a schedule.
2
Under When?, choose the days.
Every day is chosen at first. At least one day stays chosen.
3
Set the time next to at.
The line under When? shows the time zone it runs in: yours, at the moment you chose the trigger.
4
Add the steps, then turn it on.
How it works
At each time you set, the automation runs once, without a record. It suits a reminder to the team, or sending data to another app at a set time.
To act on each record of a unit, such as a reminder 30 days before a contract ends, use the trigger Before or after a date instead: see Send a reminder before a date, after it, or on the day.
If something goes wrong
What you see
Why
What to do
It runs at the wrong hour
It runs in the time zone shown under When?, which was set when the trigger was chosen.
Set the time in that time zone.
“It runs on a custom schedule (…), kept as it is.”
The schedule was set before the current editor, in a form it can’t show.
It keeps running as before. To change it, press Start it on something else and choose On a schedule again.

The situation
The weekly pipeline review kept slipping.
What they did
- On a schedule: Sunday, at 09:00.
- Notify a team member: “Time for the weekly pipeline review”, with a phone notification.
The result
The sales team meets every Sunday without anyone having to remind them.
A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.
