Create a WhatsApp group, or leave one

Create a group from the session’s number with a name and its first members, or leave a group you no longer need. A group you leave stays read-only.

Groups turned on and the session “Working”
  • You need: Create on the WhatsApp Groups row to create, and Delete to leave
  • Groups are turned on for the number, and the session is Working.

Steps

1
To create a group: in Cortex Chat, press the new conversation button, then New group.
2
Type the Group name, add the numbers of its first Members, then press Create group.
The group shows in the Groups tab, with the session’s number as its owner.
3
To leave a group: open its Group info, press Leave group, then Leave.

You can’t undo leaving from Corteksa. To get back in, an admin has to add you, or you use an invite link.

How it works

Any member can leave. You don’t need to be an admin.

After you leave, the chat stays with its history, but it’s read-only. The same happens if another admin removes you from the group.

The result

The group was ready without a phone, and the management follows it from Cortex Chat.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know
