View and filter your WhatsApp call history

Every voice or video call on your WhatsApp Web numbers is logged. View them in Call History, filter them by status, direction and type, and sort them by time or duration.

3 min

Steps

1
In Cortex Chat, press the Missed Calls button (the phone icon) in the inbox header.
Call History opens.
2
Search by phone number, or use Filters & Search.
3
Choose the Status, the Direction (Outgoing or Incoming) and the Type (Video or Voice).
4
Sort by Call Time, Created or Duration, Newest First or Oldest First.

How it works

The call also shows in the chat with the caller.

You only see calls from the chats you’re allowed to see under your permissions.

Corteksa can’t make or answer calls. You answer from the phone.

The situation

The manager wants to know how many calls are rejected each day.

What they did
  1. She filtered the history by the Rejected status and the Incoming direction.
The result

She saw the numbers clearly, and turned on the automatic reply to point callers to messages.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Call history is for WhatsApp Web.
For a call that rings until it ends without an answer, WhatsApp sends no event.
