Number field: quantities, counts, limits and formatting

A number you can add up, sort and compare, with a minimum and a maximum, and the separator format that suits you.

3 min

How it works

The format is for display only. The stored and exported value is always the same, so changing it is safe on a field that has data.

When sorting, an empty field counts as the smallest value.

It works in formulas, rollups and catalog matching.

For amounts of money, use Currency: it keeps the currency code and the rounding.
