File field: one file or several attachments

Attach contracts, invoices and drawings. Choose one file or several, set the formats and the size, and decide whether the files are public.

4 min

How it works

Examples of formats: pdf, docx, xlsx, jpg, png, mp4, mp3, zip, dwg and psd.

Replacing the file in single-file mode

Delete the current file first, then upload the new one. Uploading on top of it is rejected, and nothing is saved.

Switching the field from multiple files to a single file doesn’t delete the old files, but it stops more from being added.

If a teammate and an automation add a file at the same moment, both files are saved.

A file downloads with its original name and type.

Documents generated from templates can be attached in a file field.
