The Source and Lead Form fields: where each client came from
The system fills in the source field with “Facebook form” or “Instagram form”, and the “Lead Form” field with the name of the form the client filled in. Use them in filters, distribution and dashboards.
The Source field
The unit’s source field is filled in (the system source field, or a field named “Source”). If you matched a form question to the source field and it came with a value, your value takes priority. Older values such as “Facebook Form” and “Meta Form” were merged into one option, “Facebook form”, and the old ones stay archived.
The “Facebook” option on its own means Messenger chats, not forms.
The Lead Form field
A read-only system field that holds the name of every form the client filled in, in the order they arrived. It works with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. The form’s option is added the moment the form is registered, so it shows in filters and distribution rules before the first client arrives.
Renaming the form on the platform doesn’t create a new option; the option is tied to the form itself.
Read-only
Users, imports and automations can’t edit the “Lead Form” field. The exception is a connection through an API key, for an ad system Corteksa doesn’t connect to directly.
If something goes wrong
A real example
They want to know which form brings clients who actually enroll.
- They added a dashboard that groups clients by “Lead Form” and enrollment stage.
It turned out that the “Free consultation” form brings twice the enrollments, so they moved the budget to it.
