Link with an 8-character code instead of scanning
If the phone is far from the screen, ask for an 8-character pairing code such as ABCD-EFGH, and type it in WhatsApp on the phone. The result is the same as scanning the QR code.
Before you start · 1 thing · for owners and managersA session in “Scan QR” status
- You need: The Update permission on the WhatsApp Web row
- A session in Scan QR status. Create it from Connect a WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code or Connect a WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code.
Steps
+966512345678, then press Get code.ABCD-EFGH.How it works
Before issuing the code, Corteksa checks that the number isn’t linked to another session in the workspace, and that your plan allows one more session. That way the request is refused early, instead of the number being disconnected after you type the code.
WhatsApp doesn’t always issue a pairing code for every account. If it doesn’t, you see that the code isn’t available, and then you scan the QR code instead.

The number was linked in 2 minutes, without moving the phone.
