Search for a record inside a unit or across the whole system
Search inside a unit with the search box, or search all units, messages and comments with global search. Search handles Arabic spelling differences, such as hamza forms and taa marbuta.
Steps
What it searches
All text, long text, email, mobile, WhatsApp number and serial number fields. The search is “contains”, so part of a word is enough.
Mobile numbers: type 6 or more digits to match a number, whatever its spaces and symbols. Arabic-Indic digits, such as ٠٥٥, are understood.
Arabic: «أحمد» and «احمد» match, as do «ى» and «ي», and «ة» and «ه». Diacritics and tatweel are ignored. English isn’t case-sensitive.
Recent records
Global search shows the last 6 records you opened in the past 30 days, under Recently opened. Records you’ve lost access to are removed automatically.
If something goes wrong
A real example
A patient calls and gives only the last digits of their mobile number.
- The employee typed 7 digits of the number in the search.
The patient’s file showed straight away, even though the number was saved with spaces and the country code.
