The free trial, and how to extend it to 30 days

Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial with all the features of its plan. Add a card, and the trial extends to 30 days from sign-up, with nothing charged.

3 min

During the trial

The chosen plan works in full. Changing plans is free and immediate, and you can switch as often as you like. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan, and how members are billed.

Extending it with a card

When you add a card, a small verification amount is charged and refunded straight away. The status stays Trial, and its end date moves to 30 days from sign-up. See Add or change a payment card.

The end of the trial

Situation
What happens
You added a card
The chosen plan’s subscription is charged at that moment, and the subscription becomes Active
You didn’t add a card
The subscription becomes Past due: you keep full access for a 3-day grace period, then the workspace becomes read-only. See Read-only mode, and how to get your workspace back

A declined verification during the trial changes nothing, because nothing is owed during a trial.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

The director needs more time to try automations with her Ramadan campaigns.

What they did
  1. She added her card on day 5.
  2. She switched between plans to try out their limits.
The result

The trial extended to 30 days, and the charge started on the plan she settled on.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

14 days from sign-up, or 30 days from sign-up with a card.
Switching plans doesn’t extend the trial or reset your usage.
Add-ons and credit packs need an active subscription, so you can’t buy them during the trial.
