Every kind of button on a WhatsApp Cloud template
Add up to 10 buttons to a template: quick reply, visit website, call phone, copy offer code and verification code. The client acts with one tap, without typing.
The rules
http:// or https://, up to 2,000 characters, with only one variable, at its end+ optional, up to 20 digitsAn order that’s accepted, for example: reply, reply, link, call. One that’s refused: reply, link, reply.
Link button variable
Write the variable at the end of the link only, such as https://shop.example/track/{{order_id}}, and enter an example of its value alone, such as ORD-12345. When sending, it’s filled from the record’s field with the same name, or from a value an automation passes.
Buttons edited in Meta
Changes you make to a template’s buttons in WhatsApp Manager don’t come back to Corteksa. Edit the buttons in Corteksa instead, so the template goes to Meta for review with them.
Other Meta button types (forms, voice call and catalog) aren’t supported.
In the chat
Buttons are saved with the message as it was sent, with their filled-in link. And a quick reply tap shows as a message from the client, with the button’s title as its text.

A real example
The discount offer template needs a “Register now” button, and a discount code that’s easy to copy.
- They added a link button to the registration page, and a copy code button with the example
NAMA25. - When sending, the employee enters the current class’s code.
Registrations from the message went up, because clients don’t type the code by hand.
