Why did my Facebook, Instagram or TikTok session stop?

When the platform revokes the connection’s permission, the session stops and you get a notification. Reconnect from the same page, and the session comes back with its chats.

The Create permission on the channel
  • You need: The Create permission on the channel

Steps

1
Open the channel settings and find the stopped session that asks to be reconnected, such as one showing Meta access expired.
2
Press Reconnect, sign in with the same account and accept all the permissions.
The same session starts working again, with its chats.
3
For a Facebook Page with Instagram linked to it, one reconnect brings back both.

How it works

Channel
When the session stops
Facebook and Instagram
The Facebook password changed, the app was removed, or access expired (about 60 days without renewal).
Facebook and Instagram
Meta blocked the page for a policy reason. The session comes back on its own when the block is lifted.
TikTok
Automatic renewal failed. Corteksa renews the permission every hour, before it expires.

The session’s members get one notification that the session was disconnected. See When you get a notification, and why.

While it’s stopped, messages and replies to comments are refused with an alert: “Meta no longer accepts this connection... Reconnect the page”.
