The Cortex Unit agent: read and edit your data by talking

The default agent for every question and single change. It reads, searches, calculates and draws charts, and edits records, fields, views and tasks after you approve.

7 min

How it works

It works on your workspace as it is. If you’re on a unit’s page, it understands that your request is about that unit, unless you name another unit.

It understands unit names in Arabic and ignores diacritics and differences in hamza spelling. If two names are alike, it asks which one you mean.

If something goes wrong

What you see
Why
What to do
“I can’t delete more than 5 records at a time”
A safety limit.
Split the request.
“I can’t create more than 50 records in one step”
The batch limit.
Split the list.
“This field is calculated automatically and can’t be edited”
A serial number or a calculation.
Edit the fields it depends on.
It can’t find a unit or record
Your permissions don’t cover it.

A real example

Namaa Academy
The situation

The supervisor wants a quick follow-up without opening reports.

What they did
  1. She asked: “How many clients came from Instagram this month, by consultant?”.
  2. Then: “Assign the clients with no assignee to Sara”.
  3. She approved the assignment card.
The result

She got the number and the assignment in one conversation.

A made-up company, to show the idea. The numbers are rounded.

Good to know

Up to 40 tool steps in one request.
After each write, it checks the first 20 records, and the rest are reported as “unconfirmed”.
Deactivated fields are edited or deleted only by their exact name.
