Authorize or disconnect a third-party app
When a third-party app asks to connect to your account, a screen shows its name and what it asks for. Press Authorize or Cancel. You’ll find every app you’ve authorized in Connected apps, and you can disconnect any of them.
Steps
1
Press “Connect to Corteksa” in the third-party app.
The Corteksa screen opens. If you aren’t signed in, you’re sent to sign in first; then press “Connect to Corteksa” in the app again.
2
Review the app’s name and the list under This will allow it to: each line is a short label, in English.
3
Press Authorize to approve, or Cancel to refuse.
You return to the third-party app.
4
Later, open Settings → Connected apps to see each app, its permissions and the date it was connected.
5
Press Disconnect next to the app, then Yes, disconnect.
The app loses access straight away.
How it works
The app works with your own permissions, within the permissions you approved. If your permissions are lowered, what the app sees is lowered too.
The approval applies to the current workspace only.
If something goes wrong
What you see
Why
What to do
“This app can’t be connected” instead of the approval screen
The app’s request isn’t correct.
Contact the app’s developer.
“You don’t have permission to grant the access this app is requesting.”
Your permissions don’t include what the app asks for.
Ask the owner to raise your permissions.
Good to know
If the app’s request isn’t correct, you aren’t redirected to any site.
